Aven Akerman, born in Midland, Ontario on December 4, 2003, departed from this world tragically as a result of a motor vehicle accident on April 26, 2024, at the age of 20. Aven’s sudden passing has left a profound void in the hearts of all who knew and cherished him.
He will be sadly missed by his parents Jessica Laurin, Chris Akerman, and his younger sister Ella. Dearly beloved by his grandparents, aunts, uncles, many cousins, and all of his friends.
Aven was a beacon of light in the lives of those fortunate enough to have crossed paths with him. His vibrant spirit, infectious laughter, his quick wit, and compassionate soul touched the lives of many. Aven brought joy, laughter, and kindness to all who knew him.
In his 20 years, Aven accomplished much and touched countless hearts. His passion for life was evident in everything he pursued; including spending time with family and friends, whether it be snowmobiling, skiing, hockey, paintball, Xbox, and his new found love for fishing.
May Aven rest in peace, knowing he was loved immensely and will never be forgotten. Aven’s legacy of love, kindness and joy will forever endure in the hearts of those he left behind.
A memorial service to celebrate Aven’s life will be held on July 26, 2024, at 3 p.m. at the Akerman family home.
