Our hearts broke on Friday September 29th, 2023, when Robert Watson (“Bob”) passed away at the age of 66 with dignity and great courage. Proud father and best friend of Jake Waston (Emma LeBoeuf). Loving brother of Linda Watson (Ray Cartier). Proud uncle to his nephew Curtis Cartier. He will also be dearly missed by his little buddy Shakey.
Bob’s greatest passion in life was farming, he was happiest when working alongside his dad James Watson “Jim” (2000), sharing their love of the land and nature. Bob was also a truck driver, running long hauls for many years across the US and Canada. His last job with Lozon Trucking was his favourite. Bob loved everything outdoors, hunting, fishing, boating etc. or just sitting under a tree sipping a cold one. Bob filled every room with light, love, and laughter. Wherever Bob was he was having fun and he made everyday the best day.
Thank you to Bob’s “chosen brothers” for always being there for him, especially these last four months; Scott Suter, Brian Lee, Gerald Lozon, Reno Levesque, Brent Parry, Chuck De haw, and Ed Huckle. A big thank you to Betsy Irwin a.k.a. Tennessee to Bob, for all the love and support you gave to Bob and our family. Bob always lived by “It’s not what you have, it’s who you have”. Everyone loved Bob!
His silence is deafening!
Thank you to Dr. Pepper, Wallaceburg Hospital, Dr. Jhawar and staff of Windsor Regional Hospital, Ouellette Campus, and the Doctors, and nurses at Windsor Regional Cancer Centre, Met. Campus. Thankyou for the compassionate care you gave Bob.
