Our father, grandfather and great grandfather has passed away today in the city of Chatham, Ontario, Canada at the age of 90.
From an early age he learned to survive in an adverse world alone and in part surrounded by his brothers, especially his twin George. He went to the Army and then met the great love of his life… Amparo; they had 4 children whom I love intensely always.
From the hand of your beloved wife, they lived a life full of adventures from the jungles of Caqueta to the capital, Bogota. Through poorer or richer always together they reached 70 years of marriage.
At 82 years old I emigrated to Canada, here I enjoy admiring the stations, the great lakes and rivers, being together with my whole family. In his final years surrounded by children, sons-in-law, grandchildren and great-grandchildren he fished, walked, danced, played and marveled at all the new things he met.
Your journey in this World has ended… Goodbye Uncle Chucho.
Rest in Peace, you will always be loved and remembered. As per his wishes, cremation has taken place in a private family ceremony in Windsor. The family would like to thank you for all the messages and condolences.
