It is with heavy hearts we share the passing of our father, grandpa and brother, James Joseph Vandecaveye on January 16th, 2024 at the CKHA with his family at his side.
Jim was born in Chatham 64 years ago to Victor Vandecaveye & Dorothy (Fink). Father of Brandon Vandecaveye & Laura of Chatham and Sara Vandecaveye of London. Fun loving grandpa of Noah, Brier, Finley, Ethan & Connor. He leaves behind his sisters Marie & Linda, brothers Mike, Brian, & John. He will sadly be missed by his best friend and Soulmate Marleah and his former spouse Stephanie.
Jim was a great jokester who loved the outdoors, fishing, camping and working on his lawn and vegetable garden.
Cremation has already taken place, as to Jim’s wishes there will be no celebration of life. Those wishing to make a donation in Jim’s name to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
