Pamela Louise Fennessy Obituary
Pamela Louise Fennessy passed away at her home on Friday, May 31, 2024, at the age of 77 years. Beloved wife to James William Fennessy for 56 years. Loving mother to Jacqueline Fennessy (Arco van den Heuvel) of Toronto, Colleen Fennessy Brust (Jeffrey) of New Jersey and James Fennessy Jr. (Margaret) of Canton, Ohio. Proud Nanny to Ryan, Grace, Jordan, William, Bunni, Rebecca, Colin and Molly. Loving sister to Barbara McDermott of Boston, Massachusetts. Her parents and other siblings predeceased her: Ruth Holmes, John Holmes, Jack Holmes, William (Bill) Holmes, and Shirley Anastas.
Pamela loved being a daughter, sister, wife, aunt, mother (to humans and dogs), and friend. She liked to sit with us and taught us how to hug tight, tell someone you love them and make them feel it, and how to enjoy things. Pamela loved being with her family, sitting in the sun (especially at the beach), being from Boston, reading, listening to music, watching scary movies, making beautiful things, and laughing. She could make a person feel cherished, and we all wish she’d been able to be so kind to herself.
