Passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 15, 2024, at Cambridge Memorial Hospital with family by her side at the age of 88. Theresa was born on July 23, 1936, in Bell Island, Newfoundland.
Predeceased by her husband Andrew Dobbin and daughter Theresa Curnew. Theresa was the last surviving member of her immediate Ryan family of James and Anne (Murphy) Ryan . Leaving to mourn children, daughters Doreen Parsons (Lloyd), Karen Curnew (Ken), Shirley Roberts (Norman), sons Andy, Raymond (Rose), Barry (Penny) and Jim (Kim).
Theresa was a loving mother, aunt, grandmother, great grandmother and great-great grandmother.
During her life, Theresa had many friends as she tremendously enjoyed working as a sacristan at St. Michael’s Parish and being a devout Catholic Christian. Theresa was a very generous and caring person who always put other’s needs before her own. She supported many charities and organizations. Theresa will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Funeral mass will be held at St. Ambrose Parish, 210 South St, Cambridge, on Thursday August 22, 2024, at 11 a.m. Interment will be held at St. Patrick’s cemetery following the mass.
