Passed away peacefully at Fairview Mennonite Home, Cambridge on Wednesday, December 27, 2023, in her 91st year.
Originally from Paisley, Scotland Rosemary M. Hanley (nee Brennan) came to Canada at a young age. She had a long career at the Royal Bank. A woman of strong faith and a long-time member of St. Mary of the Visitation Parish.
Rosemary is survived by her 5 loving children: Margaret (Paul) Stares, Theresa (Bill) Linn, Rosemary (John VanThuyl) McLaughlin, Paul (Cheryl) Hanley, and Sharon (Chris) Douglas. Cherished Nana of Brennan, Jordana, Derrick, Kyle, Jason, Shelley, John, Cory, Courtney, Kayla, and many great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild.
Rosemary was predeceased by her husband Albert Hanley, her parents Margaret and Thomas Brennan, brother Tom Brennan Jr., and sister Margaret Walker.
Funeral Mass for Rosemary will be held at St. Mary of the Visitation Parish, 16 Cooper St., Cambridge on Tuesday, January 2nd, 2024 at 11 am.
A special word of thanks to the nurses, PSW’s and other staff of Fairview Mennonite Home. Also, a special acknowledgement to the sisters of Marian Residence.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Rosemary may be made to St. Mary of the Visitation Parish or to Fairview Mennonite Home.
