It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of our beloved
Henryk on Tuesday, September 24, 2024. Henryk is survived by his
adoring son Albert (Carlie Walker) and baby granddaughter Julia Swierczynski.
Henryk was born in Kamionka, Poland and immigrated to Canada with
his family in 1984 where they settled in Toronto, ON.
Henryk was always known to be a friendly helping hand to everyone that
he met. He moved several places in his life and always had a great
relationship with his neighbours and anyone he would meet. He enjoyed
tending to his vegetable and flower garden, he loved scrambled eggs
and bacon, a shot of his favourite Polish vodka with a “na zdrowie”
always, and he was head over heels for his beloved son Albert.
Henryk will be fondly remembered by family and friends for his kind and
gentle personality. For the way he was welcoming to anyone and
everyone. For his strong and resilient will power.
There will be a Mass of Christian Burial at St Ambrose Catholic Church,
210 South St Cambridge on Thursday October 3rd at 11:00am.
If you would like to say your goodbyes privately, there will be a time to
do that at Corbett Funeral Home from 10:00am-10:45am October 3rd, 2024.
