With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Calogero Meli on Monday, August 26, 2024, at the age of 77 years. Beloved husband of Serafina for 56 years. Loving father to Carmelina Futino (Joseph) and Josephine Dojutrek (David). Proud nonno of Joseph (Jordan), Samantha (Gabriel), Gabriel and Isaiah. Dear brother to the late Giuseppina Siragusa (late Giovanni) and Rosario Meli (late Vincenza). Much loved by many brothers-in-law and sisters-in law, and dear Zio to many nieces and nephews. Visitation at SMITH’S FUNERAL HOME, 454 Highway #8 (east of Millen Road) STONEY CREEK (905-664-4222) on Tuesday, September 3, 2024, from 3-5 and 6-9 p.m., and Wednesday, September 4, 2024, from 10 a.m. until time of Funeral Prayers in the chapel at 11 a.m. Interment at Our Lady of the Angels Cemetery, Stoney Creek.
