It is with profound sadness that the family of Maria ‘Camila’ Rodrigues Sotelo announces her sudden passing on Thursday, October 10, 2024 due to a tragic car accident.
She was the beloved daughter of Milena Sotelo Rivera and Luis Alberto Rodriguez Blanco, and a loving sister to Luisa Carolina Rodriguez Sotelo and Juan Diego Paez Sotelo. Camila was a cherished granddaughter of Melida Rivera de Sotelo and the late Jose David Sotelo Saenz, Anatilde Blanco Bernal as well as Luis Felipe Rodriguez Castro.
Camila will be fondly remembered by her many uncles, aunts, cousins, friends, and colleagues. At just 22 years old, she exemplified happiness, health, kindness, beauty, and ambition, maintaining a wide circle of family and friends. Camila lived a remarkable life and touched the lives of all who knew her. She was dedicated to bringing joy to those around her, and while her bright spirit may no longer be with us, it will forever remain in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing and loving her.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to the emergency workers who provided care to our beautiful girl. Cremation will take place shortly after Camila’s family has a chance to say a private good-bye. A private Celebration of Life will be held in the near future. In memory of Camila, donations to a Charity of Your Choice would be appreciated by her family. Arrangements entrusted to Miller Funeral Chapel, Caledonia, On. Friends are invited to send condolences and sign the Book of Memories at www.millerfuneralchapel.ca
