Hatos – Joseph Sandor
Peacefully at the Brantford General Hospital on Saturday October 7, 2023. Joe Hatos, of Burford, in his 87th year. Beloved husband of the late Dorothy (nee Purdham). Loving father of Rose Parker (Wayne) and predeceased by son Joey. Cherished grandpa of Patricia (Mike) Clow, David Parker (Victoria), Rebecca Parker (Rahkeim) and Great-grandfather of Ophelia, Georgia and Benjamin. Predeceased by his brothers Kármen and Kálmán. Joe will be sadly missed by his nieces, nephews, family & friends.
Joe was a devoted husband, father, grandpa & great-grandpa. Together Joe and Dorothy worked hard on their farm in the Burford area while supporting others with his kind and caring heart. He was passionate about his gardens and carpentry, always working with his hands.
Family and friends will be received at the Keith Ovington Funeral Home, 134 King Street, Burford, Ontario on Wednesday from 6-8 p.m. A Celebration of Joe’s Life will be held on Thursday October 12, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. Interment Pioneer Cemetery, Burford.
