It is with great sadness that the family announces the sudden passing of Brenda Lyle at Parklane Terrace in Paris, on August 6, 2024, at 64 years old.
Brenda was a ‘Navy Brat’, born August 19, 1959 in Churchill, Manitoba where her Dad was posted while Serving The Royal Canadian Navy, before her family transferred to Victoria B.C, where her father eventually retired in 1967. Brenda and her family then moved back to Brantford where her parents met.
Brenda was the proud Mother of Shylo Lynn Lyle Mayes and grandmother of Arionna Mekcal Mayes, and will be deeply missed by both. Brenda is the Daughter of the late Beverley M Bayne and Peter Dean Lyle. Brenda is survived by her siblings; Sheila Gray, Lynda Robinson, Karen MacAskill, Paul Lyle, Gail Baker, Maureen Tremblay and Lance Lyle. Brenda had a longtime career in dietary, working at the John Noble Home in Brantford for over 20 years, where she retired early.
Our thanks to St. Joseph’s Hospital in Hamilton for their compassionate care over the past 20 years.
A Celebration of Brenda’s Life will be held at the Keith Ovington Funeral Home, 134 King Street, Burford Ontario, on Thursday September 5, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. Interment at Mt Hope Cemetery.
