Obituary of Cheryl Ann Hodgkinson
Entered into rest at the Brockville General Hospital on Sunday January 21, 2024. Cheryl Ann “Sugar” Hodgkinson aged 66 years. Beloved partner for 35 years of Mary de Bruyn. Cherished sister of Roger Hodgkinson (Denise), John Hodgkinson (Judy), Patrick Hodgkinson (Diana), Trude Salmon (Bruce). Also missed by numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and a great great niece. Sugar will be dearly missed by Evelyn and Wilbert Perrin. Sugar is predeceased by her parents Wilfred and Beatrice (Daniels) Hodgkinson, siblings William (Pat), Linda, Mike and Peter. Sugar was known for her love of the outdoors and sports. She was an avid fastball pitcher, golfer and enjoyed kayaking.
Family and friends may call the Barclay Funeral Home, 137 Pearl Street E., Brockville on Friday January 26th from 6 to 8 p.m. and Saturday January 27th from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday January 27th in the Chapel at 1 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated by the family.
