Obituary of Ann Pueschel
With great sadness the family announces the passing of Ann Pueschel (van der Woude).
Ann passed peacefully away Monday, June 18, 2024 at Brockville General Hospital.
Ann is survived by her loving son Peter Jr. and grandchildren Jessica, Zander, Brody and Justin (Morgan), and her two sisters Grietje Kuen and Joanne Ogilvie (Don) and sister-in-law Heidi Marie (Dieter|), nieces Verena (Martin) from Berlin, Germany, Brittany Clark (Cody), nephew Daniel Ogilvie (Ashley). She is also survived by great grandchildren Brantley, Braxton, Barrett, and great- nieces Layla, Brielle, Ivie, and great-nephew Callum.
Ann was born in Assendelft, Netherlands, June 4, 1946, daughter of late Pietje (Oost) and Inne van der Woude. She was a devoted mother and Oma to her grandchildren. Ann had a passion for antiques, particularly her cherished Amethyst glass collection, and her artistic talent shone through in her beautiful home decorations. Ann was a bus driver for Brockville City Bus Lines and later found fulfillment in owning her own successful private daycare. She took great joy in nurturing the children in her care, treating them like her own grandchildren. She loved to travel with her husband in their motorhome for many years. A weekend trip for them would be going through Vermont and then heading to the ocean in Maine. Together, they loved the smell of the ocean. Peter Sr. & Ann are motor homing together again; VSEAYA on the Old Orchard Beach, MA.
She will always be truly missed. Loved always and forever in our hearts.
There will be a private family service at Oakland Cemetery.
