It is with profound sadness our family announces the passing of Randy Johnston on October 12, 2023, in his 67th year surrounded by his family and friends. Randy leaves behind his three daughters Kandyce, Sumer and Dakota and their mother Ruth Johnston, and his son Michael. He is grandfather to Emily, William, Stevie and Gracie. Randy was predeceased by his father Ronald (Bull) Johnston, his mother Charlotte, his brother Dan and his sister Lynn. Survived by his siblings Sandra (Gord) Bouchard and Susan Johnston. He will be missed by his niece, nephews, his cousin Rob, and all who knew him. Special thanks to Jim (Whiskey), Robin and Wayne for always being there. At Randy’s request a cremation has taken place and a celebration of life will be held at a later date. “It’s not the destination. It’s the ride.” Funeral arrangements have been entrusted with Beckett-Glaves Family Funeral Centre, 88 Brant Ave., Brantford, ON, 519-752-4331. In lieu of flowers donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
A tree will be planted in memory of Randy in the Beckett-Glaves Memorial Forest.
