Passed peacefully at Northumberland Hills Hospital October 10, at the age of 74.
Beloved husband of Debra(nee Slaght). Loving father to Bobbi Jo Pitre(Roger), Tracy Burns(Jason) and Janelle Burns(Cory). Proud grandfather to Alyssa, Tianna, Tiffany(Ian), Rachel, Claudia, Leah, Charleigh, Kenzie, Talen, Kash and CJ. Dear brother to Steve, Francine, Joe and Rod. Son of the late Audrey Plain and Frank Burns. Lance will be dearly missed and fondly remembered by all of his extended family and friends.
A Celebration of Life for Lance will be held on Friday, October 27 from 6-9PM at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 178)109 King St. E., Bowmanville). If desired, memorial donations to either the Canadian Cancer society(www.cancer.ca) or the Northumberland Hills Hospital Foundation(nhhfoundation.ca/) are greatly appreciated.
