Passed away peacefully at Hillsdale Terraces, on December 2, 2023 in her 94th year.
Beloved wife of the late Frederick for 63 years. Cherished mother to Joyce(the late Bruce), Paul(Alana), Ed, Mark(Gisele) and Ken(Julie). Proud grandmother to 11 grandchildren and great-grandmother to 11.
Joyce was born September 1, 1930 in Coventry, England. She married Frederick Andrews on September 6, 1951 and they spent the next 63 years together. Joyce was an avid bridge player and gardener and loved travel, knitting, and the company of family.
Joyce’s family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to the wonderful staff at Hillsdale Terraces for the care and compassion they provided to her during her last days.
Friends may call for visitation on Monday, December 11 at Morris Funeral Chapel(4 Division St., Bowmanville) from 12PM until time of service in the funeral home chapel at 1PM. If desired, memorial donations to the Alzheimer Society(alzheimer.ca/durham/) are greatly appreciated.
