Dennis Zahorodney, beloved husband of Dr. Martha Clendenning, passed away peacefully at his home on December 28, 2023, at the age of 73.
Son of the late Anthony and Marie Zahorodney. Survived by siblings Terry Zahorodney (Sharon), Diane Kenny and Sherry Cornish (Luke Viera) and sister-in-law Liz Zahorodney. Predeceased by siblings Jerome Zahorodney, Robin Zahorodney (infant), Lana Crawford and brother-in-law Randy Kenny.
Son-in-law of the late Jim and Kate Clendenning. Dennis will be greatly missed by his extended family: Libby and Wayne Passmore, Mary and Mike Genge, and Jim and Julie Clendenning.
A favourite uncle, his stories, wit and wisdom will forever be treasured by his many nieces and nephews. Dennis was a true scholar who loved sharing his insights and gathering insights from others.
A private visitation and memorial service will be held.
If lieu of flowers, friends may share with New Scotland-Ridge United Church Memorial Fund and the Arthritis Society of Canada.
