IVENS: William Richard – passed away suddenly at his home in Bolsover on December 4, 2024 at the age of 93 years. William was predeceased by his wife Isobel. Dear father of Brian (Dawn) Ivens, Gary (Holly) Ivens, Debbie (Brad) Hunt, Randy (Sue) Ivens and Mark (Tami) Ivens. Lovingly remembered by his 13 grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren. William will be remembered by his many nieces and nephews.Bill worked in the family plumbing business from the age of 16. He obtained his Master Plumber’s License and eventually continued on to work with the Peel Board of Education from 1977 until he retired in 1993. He had an exceptional mind for mechanical engineering and could fix almost anything, perhaps after sleeping on it overnight. A visitation will be held at the Mangan Funeral Home on Wednesday December 11th from 11a.m-1 p.m. Followed by a reception at the Beaverton Legion. If so desired memorial donations in memory of William, to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated by the family. Online condolences are welcomed at www.manganfuneralhome.com
