Arlene Vida Warvill (nee Horan)
July 24th, 1960 – December 1st. 2024
It is with deep sadness in our hearts, that we announce the passing of Arlene Warvill. With family by her side, Arlene passed peacefully at Orillia Soldiers’ Memorial Hospital on Sunday December 1st, 2024.
Arlene loved to read, to be near the water and to spend time enjoying her gardens. Above all, Arlene’s family was her greatest joy. Arlene loved, and was loved by her husband Mark, her children Amanda (Ken), Lacie (Mike), Shawn (Nicole) and her grandchildren Hailey, Emmett, Payton, Felix, Shea, Chloe and Mara. Arlene was predeceased by her parents Carl and Thora (Jones) Horan. She will be missed by her younger siblings Janice (Pre-deceased Garry), Janeen (Paul) and Earl (Sherry) along with her mother in-law Opal (Pre-deceased John) and siblings in-law Cathy, Beth (Mel), Margaret (Steve) and many nieces and nephews.
Arlene maintained a positive mindset and strong will in facing the challenges Multiple Sclerosis presented her. She didn’t allow her disease and disability stop her from pursuing her goals and enjoying her life. Charitable donations can me made to the Multiple Sclerosis Society of Canada.
Our family would like to thank the staff at Soldiers’ Memorial Hospital for their great care and expertise. Thank you to the many family and friends for their messages of love and support.
A private service will be held. All family and friends are invited to join us for a celebration of life to take place on Saturday January 11th from 2-4pm at the Beaverton Royal Canadian Legion. Online condolences are welcome at www.manganfuneralhome.com
