Sherri Lynn (Willis) Babuik & Anson Jed Babuik residents of Beaverlodge, AB, tragically passed away on November 1, 2024. Sherri at the age of 48 and Anson at the age of 21.
Sherri was a force to be reckoned with. She was always helping whoever needed it. She was the ‘GLUE’ that held many families together. She was most proud of her loving husband Kevin of 22 years, Son Anson (21), and Daughter Kami-Anne (19). She was a wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunty, niece, and a friend to so many.
Sherri’s laughter was infectious, and her dance moves made many people jealous. She could outwork people twice her size and half her age. It’s impossible to list all her attributes as that list is like no other. She touched the lives of every single person she met.
The apple did not fall far from the tree when it came to Anson. His work ethic was second to none, Willowview Farms Ltd was his passion. He started his business this year and had already made it very successful. Many farmers commented, “He was so wise beyond his years”. His heart was huge, and his friends were close. He lived life making the most of every situation, he worked hard, partied hard, and loved & laughed even harder.
Though these two are leaving a giant hole in so many people’s hearts, together they were doing exactly what they both loved right up to the final second.
Leaving loving husband and father, Kevin, loving daughter and sister Kami-Anne; Parents, Grandparents, Aunties, Uncles, Cousins by the dozens, Nieces, Great Nieces, Nephews and Great Nephews and friends by the truckload.
They were predeceased by Ged Willis, Karman Willis, Rick Babuik, and an unfortunate amount of cousins.
The funeral service for Sherri and Anson will be held on Sunday, November 10, at 2:00 pm, at Willowview Auctions (103046 Twp Rd 720) in Beaverlodge. Snacks and visiting to follow.
