Obituary of Keith Walter Mayer
Keith Walter Mayer, of Wembley, AB, passed away on Wednesday, September 18, 2024, at the age of 49 years.
Keith was born in Beaverlodge, AB, on July 22, 1975, to parents Jacob and Norma Mayer. He received his formal education at the Helen E. Taylor School in Wembley and attended high school at the Beaverlodge Regional High School where he graduated.
Keith worked for his family’s business, Hillside Poultry Farms for many years before starting his own company KM Contracting which he did up to his passing.
Keith was dearly loved by all his family and friends, especially his nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews. He will be remembered as the uncle who always had time to go get a movie! Keith had a great love and understanding of the words and promises of God. He had a kind heart and will be deeply missed.
He will be sadly missed by his mother Norma Mayer (neé Schellenberger); brother Glen (Diane) Mayer, children: Natalie Mayer, and Nolan (Taryn) Mayer, children: Henry, Benji & Ellie, and Neil Mayer; brother Donald (Kathy) Mayer, children: Serina (Morgan) Lang, children: Otto & Hugo, Aaron Hotton, children: Aleighah, Silken Mayer, Anders Mayer (Rebecca); sister Gail (Brian) Kuechle, Children: Austin (Stefan) Kuechle, children: Maya, Alexis Kuechle, Anthony Kuechle, Andrew Kuechle; sister: Karen (Floyd) Hiltz, children: Thorine (Justin) Vandergiessen, children Emma, Delaney, Ainslie & Heidi, Marissa (Darren) Miller, children Kaylee, Matthew, Nathan & Brandon, Kendall (Megan) Hiltz, children Reese, Broden and Jak, Nadine (Cody) Hudson; brother: Allan (Evelyn) Mayer, children: Mandy Cramer and Trish (Boyd); as well as special friends Roger Harcourt, Sean (Corina)Harcourt and children: Allison and Ben.
Keith was predeceased by his father Jacob Mayer.
A Funeral Service for Keith will be held on Saturday, October 12, 2024, at 1:00 pm, at the St. John’s Lutheran Church in Wembley (90079 – Township Road #712) Wembley, AB.
