Obituary of John Knelsen
It is with great sadness and shock that we share that our beloved brother John Knelsen of Copenhagen died unexpectedly at his home on September 26, 2023.
As many of our friends and family know, our family has experienced a great deal of loss over the last eight years. Losing John has been a shock to all who knew and loved him.
John’s passion for the boys in blue and white, both on the ice and on the field was well known among those who knew him. We all knew that if the game was on, John would be watching and cheering his team(while cursing the league).
John will be sorely missed by his brothers Pete, Henry(Wendy) and Frank, sisters Helen and Margaret(Jim), close friends Brooker and Al(Karen) and his nieces and nephews, many of whom would profess that he was their favourite.
John will be hitting the links on high and cheering on his teams from the best seat in the house. Until we meet again, we will miss and love you forever.
Visitation will be held at the H.A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer on Sunday, October 1, 2023 from 2:00-5:00 p.m. with a celebration of life for close family and friends to follow at a later date to be announced. Share memories or condolences at kebbelfuneralhome.com
