Obituary of Dave Redekop
Redekop, David, fondly remembered as “Crazy Dave,” of Aylmer passed away peacefully at his residence with Catalina by his side, after a courageous battle with cancer on Thursday, October 19, 2023 in his 65th year. He will be missed by his partner Catalina who helped him through his journey. Loving father of Kalika, Willow, Emma, Noah and their mother Cheyenne. Also survived by his sisters Nettie(Josh), Tina(Al), Helen(Jake), Sahra(Rodney), brothers Jake and Corny(Jodi) and stepmother Aganetha as well as many nieces and nephews. Born in Chihuahua, Mexico on August 9, 1959, son of the late Abram and Aganetha Redekop. Although life wasn’t always easy, he never complained. If you knew Dave well, you knew his love for fast cars and anything motor related; also how much he loved his morning coffee at McDonald’s. He will be missed beyond measure by family and friends. Visitation will be held at the H.A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer on Sunday from 1:00-3:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held at the Bradley Street Church of God, Aylmer on Monday, October 23, 2023 at 11:00 am.
