In loving memory of Samuel Sinanan, son of Ivan and Agnes Sinanan, who peacefully departed this world on Friday, March 1, 2024, in his 90th year surrounded by his devoted family.
Samuel was the cherished husband of Nora Sinanan for an incredible 64 years. He leaves behind a legacy of love as the adored father of Wendy (Victor), Jo-Ann (Willi), Gary (Mala), Margaret (Kim), Mary (Steve), and Sam (Hema). He also held a special place in his heart for Rupert (Rosmin) and Ruth (Russell), treating them as his own. Samuel was a treasured grandpa to Stephanie (Mike), Alison (Mitch), Danicca (Gavin), Malary, Alessandra, Denise, Matthias, Subira, Maya, Ava, Madelyn, Riann, Zachery, Renee, Rendell, and a loving great-grandpa to Leah.
He will be deeply missed by his sisters Isabelle (Vio), Olive, Irma, and Grace, while being fondly remembered as the brother of the late Molly, Alma, and Lionel.
Those fortunate enough to have known Samuel will recall his steadfast commitment to his family, his work, and his church. He epitomized ambition, dedicating himself to his pursuits. Yet, beneath his strong exterior he was a kind man, embracing a warmth that endeared him to all who crossed his path.
A visitation and funeral service will take place at Emmanuel United Church, 420 Balmoral Dr., Brampton, on Friday, March 8, 2024 starting at 9:30 a.m., with the service to follow at 11:00 a.m. Refreshments and fellowship will follow in the Church Reception Hall.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests memorial donations to be made to the Acute Care for the Elderly (ACE) and Dementia Care Unit at Brampton Civic Hospital, a cause close to Samuel’s heart. Donations can be made at the church with the donation cards provided.
