With such deep sorrow we announce the passing of Lesley Mills of Alliston, Ontario at 82 years of age. Lesley passed away on the morning of February 1st with her three children by her side after a brief battle of a rare disease, Amyloidosis. Her grandchildren and children meant the world to her. Lesley loved travelling with her late husband of 58 years, (Bryan Mills) and with her friends. They had so many wonderful adventures together. Lesley thoroughly enjoyed spending time with her friends and was always ready and willing to celebrate with a glass of wine. Her favourite pastime was sitting on the dock at the cottage, with her entire family and with her beloved dog, Maisy. Lesley’s favourite thing in life was her family which included Bryan, Greg (Wendy), Jen (Jay), David (Hilary) and her four grandchildren, Kate, Jacob, Ryan and Abby. We will always cherish the many memories we have made with our beloved Lesley, Mom, Body, and Momsie.
We wish to thank the wonderful staff at Providence Health Care that helped Lesley exit this world with dignity and grace. The family will be having a private funeral service for Lesley. In lieu of flowers a donation may be made to either; Providence Health Care, The Canadian Amyloidosis Support Network Inc., The Alliston Humane Society or a charity of your choice. You may send your fond memories/pictures/stories of Lesley in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
