Fils de feu Aldège et de feu marie-Ange (née Séguin) Castonguay.
Époux bien-aimé de Denise Marguerite Victoria Castonguay (née Sarault).
Père aimant de Donald Castonguay (Tamara van Blankers), Marc Castonguay (Anick Desrochers), Alain Castonguay (Nathalie Major), et André Castonguay (Tina MacDonald).
Fière grand-père de Jessica, Josyanne, Mélanie, Justin, Eric, Chloé, Jacob et Logan; et arrière-grand-père de Tanessa, Alaynah, Danika, Olivia et Deakon.
Cher frère de feu Jeanne Brunet (feu Henri).
Jean-Paul restera dans la mémoire de ses plusieurs neveux, nièces, cousin(e)s, anciens clients de J P Mobile Sandblasting et de ses amis.
Une messe funéraire privée aura lieu à l’Église Sacré-Cœur d’Alexandria à une date ultérieure.
Des dons à l’Hôpital Glengarry Mémorial seraient appréciés par la famille.

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mr. Jean-Paul Ferdinand Castonguay at the Glengarry Memorial Hospital in Alexandria on Saturday, November 16, 2024, at the age of 81.
Son of the late Aldège and the late Marie-Ange (née Séguin) Castonguay.
Beloved husband of Denise Marguerite Victoria Castonguay (née Sarault).
Loving father of Donald Castonguay (Tamara van Blankers), Marc Castonguay (Anick Desrochers), Alain Castonguay (Nathalie Major), and André Castonguay (Tina MacDonald).
Proud grandfather of Jessica, Josyanne, Mélanie, Justin, Eric, Chloé, Jacob and Logan; and great-grandfather of Tanessa, Alaynah, Danika, Olivia and Deakon.
Dear brother of the late Jeanne Brunet (late Henri).
Jean-Paul will be remembered by his many nieces, nephews, cousins, former customers of J P Mobile Sandblasting and by his many friends.
A private funeral mass will be held at the Sacred Heart Church in Alexandria at a later date.
Donations to Glengarry Memorial Hospital would be appreciated by the family.
