Victor’s Obituary
MUISE, Victor Joseph – age 74, passed away peacefully at home with family by his side on, Wednesday, December 6th, 2023. Born in Yarmouth, he was a son of the late Sidney and Margaret (Muise) Muise.
Victor was a hard worker. He was a strong man who was never sick a day in his life. When he wasn’t working, he could be found working away in his shed, listening to his music or working on his house. He had quite the sense of humor, and was always ready with a witty one liner. He enjoyed being outdoors and was an avid hunter. He loved playing bingo, playing up until a week ago where he won!
Victor is survived by his daughters, Bonnie (Gordon) Goodwin; and her children, Brittany (Blair) and Bret (Brigid); Amanda (Rich) Trella; and her child Brynlee; step children, Lora, Sandy, Doug, Jason and their families; siblings, Nancy (Avery) Nickerson; Betty (Sheila) Crouse; Clayton (Debbie) Muise; and Larry (Yvette) Muise.
He is predeceased by siblings, Doris (the late Herb) Newell; and Steven (Mabel) Muise.
The family would like to express their appreciation to the nurses in Yarmouth Hospital on 4 north and Lisa from the cancer care program. A special Thank-You goes to friends and neighbors, Sharon, Brad, Jonny and Tony, and to his special friend, Kym.
Arrangements are under the care and direction of Huskilson’s Funeral Home in Yarmouth. As per Victor’s wishes, there will be no service. Donations in memory of Victor may be made to the Gilles Boudreau and Friends Cancer Help Fund or The Canadian Red Cross. To leave messages of condolence for the family, please visit www.huskilson.net
