Rose’s Obituary
MUISE, Rose Elizabeth “Betty” – The family of the late Rose Elizabeth “Betty” Muise, sadly announce her passing on November 1, 2023 at Nakile Home for Special Care, Glenwood.
Betty was born in Yarmouth on October 13, 1948 to the late Joseph Robert “Bob” Muise and Blanche (Surette) Muise.
Despite having medical problems at a young age, she did go to work in the U.S. for a short time before returning home to live with her parents, due to declining health. She enjoyed going for walks, doing crafts and puzzles, and listening to music.
She is survived by her brother, Harold Joseph (Esther) Muise, Calgary; niece, Amanda Muise, Calgary; great niece, Layla Muise, Calgary; nephew, Ryan Muise, Yarmouth; niece, Angela Forrestall, Halifax; nephew, Vince Forrestall, Aberdeen; great niece, June Fitzgerald, Sanford, Yarmouth County; and great niece, Jenna Forrestall, Baddeck. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by sisters, Carol Forrestall and Diane Muise; and brother-in-law; Vincent Forrestall.
Funeral arrangements are under the care and direction of Huskilson’s Funeral Home, Yarmouth. There will be no visitation. A memorial service will be held at Saint Ambrose Co-Cathedral, Yarmouth, on December 11, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. with burial to follow in Our Lady of Cavalry Cemetery, Yarmouth.
