Gloria’s Obituary
SAMMS, Gloria Gail – age 69, passed away peacefully with family by her side in Yarmouth Regional Hospital on January 4, 2024. Born in Rothesay, New Brunswick, she was the daughter of Wilfred and the late Josephine (Trahan) LeBlanc.
Gloria loved her family with all of her heart. She loved getting together during Christmas and spending time with her grandchildren. Over the years, Gloria has created a beautiful collection of teapots and angels that she displayed in her home. In her younger years she enjoyed music and dancing, and camping at the lake. She was a kind woman, and had a soft spot for all animals.
Gloria is survived by her father, Wilfred LeBlanc; children, Mark (Melissa) Outhouse; Jason (Tammy) Outhouse; Collin (Rachel) Outhouse; Donnie (Jean Marie) Murphy; step children, Dawn Cleary; Troy Samms; Darren (Carolann) Samms; Dennena Samms; siblings, Adolph (Lorraine) Trahan; Paul (Agnes) Trahan; and grandchildren, Cody, Kyle, Amber, Alyssa, Taylor, Tiffany, Alex, Tyrese, Jackson, and Declan.
Besides her mother, she is predeceased by her loving husband of over 30 years, Joseph Ernest “Ernie” Samms; sibling, Roy (Mabel) Comeau; and grandchild, Nigel Surette.
Arrangements are under the care and direction of Huskilson’s Funeral Home in Yarmouth. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, January 9th, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. in Huskilson’s Funeral Chapel, Yarmouth with Deacon Bruce officiating.
