It is with heavy hearts we acknowledge the passing of Mary “Anna” LeBlanc, 88, at Tideview Terrace in Digby. Anna was born in Arcadia, Yarmouth County, to the late Lena (Muise) And Luxe Surette.
Besides her parents, Anna was predeceased by her husband Simon “Nelson” LeBlanc, a sister Marie (Surette), Florence Thomas and brothers Georgie, Fred, Charles, Stanley, Leo and Donald.
Anna is survived by a sister, Margaret “Betty” Smith and many nieces and nephews. Anna will be remembered for her infectious smile, and her love of knitting.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Huskilson’s Funeral Home in Yarmouth. Visitation will be held on November 9th, 2023 at 9:00 a.m. in Huskilson’s Funeral Chapel, Yarmouth. A funeral mass will follow in St. Ambrose Co-Cathedral at 11:00 a.m., with burial in Our Lady of Calvary Cemetery.
Donations in lieu of flowers may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association.
