Yvonne’s Obituary
COTTREAU, Yvonne Pauline (nee Boudreau) – Age 89 of Wedgeport, passed away peacefully with her family by her side at home on June 26, 2024. Born in Wedgeport on December 16, 1934, she was a daughter of the late Alfred and Effie Boudreau.
Yvonne owned and operated Yvonne’s Take Out in Wedgeport.
Yvonne is survived by her children, Percy Cottreau, Marsha (Chris) Landsborough, Joyce (Joe) Huitema, Gloria Cottreau (Randy Collin), Carol (Lawrence) Vickery and Kim Cottreau (Chris Reede); siblings, Albert (Rena) Boudreau and Jeanne D’Eon; 15 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren. Aside from her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Joseph “Alex” Cottreau; daughter-in-law, Collette Cottreau; brother-in-law, Felix D’Eon.
Funeral arrangements are under the care and direction of H.M. Huskilson’s Funeral Homes, Wedgeport. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, July 2, 2024 at 11 a.m. from St. Michaels Cemetery, Wedgeport. Memorial donations in Yvonne’s memory may be made to St. Michaels Cemetery Fund, Wedgeport.
Yvonne’s family would like to thank all the doctors and nurses at the Yarmouth Regional Hospital (3rd and 4th floor) for being such a critical part of moms and our journey. Your efforts did not go unnoticed. Heartfelt thanks.
