Pauline Francoise Doucet
July 21, 1927 – April 13, 2024
After a short illness, Pauline F. Doucet, age 96, of Yarmouth (Formerly of Wedgeport), passed peacefully on April 13, 2024 at The Meadows Home for Special Care, Yarmouth. Born in Wedgeport, she was a daughter of the late Robert and Alma (Bourque) Boudreau.
Pauline was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Pauline is survived by many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband, Eddie Joseph Doucet; sisters, Helen, Louise, Florence and Evelyn; brothers, Louis and Stanley.
Pauline could often be found behind the cash register of the general store that she owned with her husband.
A special thank you, to the present and past staff of Primrose (The Meadows) for their compassion and devoted care to Pauline for the last 11 years in room 309. She would not have made it this long without your care. She loved you all in her own way.
A heartfelt thanks to the numerous doctors that have treated Pauline during her stay at The Meadows. Thank you Dr. Chandler for your care and we will miss your weekly phone calls.
Funeral arrangements are under the care and direction of Huskilson’s Funeral Home, Wedgeport. Cremation has taken place and a Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, August 23, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. in Saint Ambrose Co-Cathedral, Yarmouth. Burial to follow in Saint Michael’s Catholic Cemetery, Wedgeport. Donations in Pauline’s memory may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
