White (Spidle), Marguerite Hilda – It is with deep sadness and heavy hearts we announce the passing of our dear mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Marguerite Hilda (Spidle) White on March 28, 2024 at age 93 surrounded by her loving family.
Mom was born and grew up in Halifax, but resided in Truro for the last number of years. Family meant everything to her. She was extremely proud of her children and grandchildren and loved to get together with her family. She was a kind woman with a quick wit and fun-loving nature.
She is survived by her loving children, Dan (Joanne), Cindy, Gerry (Amber), Thomas (Kim) and Holly (Rob) King. She leaves behind her cherished grandchildren, Jamie, Melissa, Erin, Shawn, Candace, AJ, LJ, Candice, Ambra, Justin, Kyle, Matthew, Cory, Robin, Zander; and great-grandchildren, Connor, Ciara, Jaxon, Roman, Maverick and Emma.
She was predeceased by her mother, Hilda (Spidle) Wray; father, Clarence Harold Griffiths; and sons, Frank and Toby.
A Celebration of Life will be held on May 4th in Middle Stewiacke Recreation Center from 1-3 p.m. A private family burial to follow.
The family would like to express special thanks and appreciation for the exceptional care Mom received from her caregivers, Vera Braggs, Annette Henderson and Denise Metzler.
