O’Toole, Florence Elizabeth –Age 96, passed away November 24, 2023 in Cedarstone Enhanced Care, Truro. Born in Enfield to the late Isobel Ann (Gray) and James Burton Horne.
She was a faithful member of St. Bernard’s Roman Catholic Church.
She is survived by sons, Patrick (Janet) and Daniel; daughter, Kathleen Horne (Chris); six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; sisters, Mildred Violette, Monica Hilton, Marion Maxner, Sister Rita Hanna; and many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband, Edward; son, Phillip; sisters, Annie Frame, Loretta Isenor, Katherine Barter, Alberta Laraway; and brother, Martin Horne.
Cremation has taken place under the direction of Arimathea Funeral Cooperative, Upper Musquodoboit.
The funeral will be held Thursday, December 7 at 10 a.m. in St. Bernard’s Church, Enfield with Father Gerald David officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Heart and Stroke Foundation or a charity of choice.
