Mike Corbett
Corbett, Lance Michael – Age 64, Truro. It is with great sadness that the family of Lance “Michael” Corbett announce his sudden passing on September 30, 2024. Born in Dominion, Cape Breton, he was a son of the late Frank and Florence Corbett.
Best known as “Mike,” he was a long-time employee of Stewart Auto for over 30 years, making many friends among his co-workers and customers. He was often described as the “best exhaust-man” around winning awards and admiration for his skills and abilities.
Mike truly enjoyed music, pool, darts and dancing. He was incredibly proud of his daughters’ accomplishments and spoke of them often with great fondness.
He is survived by his daughters, Kathleen, Kristyn and Denise; partner, Darlene; grandchildren and great grandchild; sisters, Francine, Denise, Paulette, Julieanna and Debbie; brother, Roy; special uncle, Nick along with many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Besides his parents, Mike was predeceased by his sisters, Frankie and Donna and brothers, Byron and Richard.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Mike’s memory may be made to Ronald McDonald House.
Mike’s family invites you to a celebration of his life on Sunday, October 6th from 1-3pm in Colchester Community Funeral Home, 512 Willow St., Truro, NS.
