It is with a broken heart and many tears that I announce the passing of (Blaine) Allan MacKay at Strait Richmond Hospital on Wednesday, August 21, 2024 with his Mom at his side.
Born in Sydney on February 19, 1967. He lived in Orangedale, Ontario, Sydney and Port Hawkesbury. He was a real good cook and painter. He was a kind person who would help anyone who needed help.
Keeping with Allan’s wishes there will be no funeral or memorial service.
Allan is survived by his mother, Tina MacDonald; brother, Brian MacKay; uncles, Vince, Clary, Allan Jr., all of Sydney. He was predeceased by his father, Gussie MacKay; twin sisters, Mary and Ann; grandparents, Allan and Marguerite MacDonald and Eli and Amy MacKay and his best friend, Ivan MacCalder.
