Obituary
Ronald (Ronnie) Smith – 97 of Linden, passed away on March 18, 2024, at the High Crest Nursing
Home.
Ronnie grew up on the family farm in Linden and never lost his love of the outdoors. He enjoyed
being a handy man working in his woodshop making furniture. He had a passion for music and
enjoyed playing the banjo and attending “old time” dances at the community hall.
Ronnie will be missed by his loving companion, Pauline Finley, his son, Al Smith and wife Joy, his
daughters, Molly Smith and Debbie Donkin, his grand daughters Melanie Rayo, Kimberly Smith
(Eric), Joscelyne Smith (Robin) and Hayley Pye, his great grandson, Jaxon Pye and his
great granddaughter, Sienna Rayo.
Ronnie was predeceased by his wife Doris Smith.
A special thank you to the staff of the High Crest Nursing Home for the care they provided
Ronnie. In keeping with his wishes there will be no services.
