Bailey, Mona Gerene – 75, Oxford Junction, passed away March 24th, 2024 in Cumberland Regional Health Care Centre, Amherst. Born in Springhill, she was a daughter of the late Hedley and Edith (Moore) Rector. Mona worked for many years at Gordon’s Greenhouses until her retirement. She is survived by her son, Darren; daughter, Lisa Childs (James Dowe); grandchildren, Sean, Bailey, Gregory, Shannalee; great-grandchildren, Wesley, Grace, Summer, Lennon; brothers, Craig (Linda) Rector; Danny (Holly) Rector; sister, Millie (Harold) Stone. She was predeceased by her husband, Basil Bailey; partner, John Pye; brother, Jerry Rector; sisters; Barb Perrin and Glenda Blair. Arrangements are in the care of MacDiarmid’s Funeral Home & Crematorium.
