Obituary
Jennings, James Michael – 66, Upper North River, passed away peacefully at home, Saturday, December 23rd, 2023. Born in Truro, he was a son of Gerald Jennings and the late Patricia “Sally” (Dexter) Jennings of Masstown. Known as Mike to many friends he spent the last 35 years in Ontario working as a roofer, as well as many years in Nova Scotia. He also lived in Alberta for awhile. He loved to bake and cook, no one went hungry when visiting him. He was an occasional farmer and gardener, and loved his dogs. Survived by father, Gerald; sons, James Frank and David Ian; sisters, Nancy (Tim) Winkler; Ann (Ken) Hansford; Susan (Chris) Vessey; brothers, Stephen (Brenda); Jason; grandchildren and great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews and his best friend, Kaye. Cremation has taken place in the care of MacDiarmid’s Funeral Home & Crematorium. Private interment will be held at a later date.
