Obituary
It is with tremendous sadness that we announce the passing of Edward John Embree, 58, of Springhill, on April 3rd, 2024. Born in Oshawa, Ont., he was a son of Ed and Rose (Rolfe) Embree. Besides his parents, he is survived by children, Tyler, Justin and Cheyenne; brothers, Darrin (Sandi) and Trevor (Lori), his grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, and special friend, Karen. After moving to Springhill, Eddy worked most of his life in construction. He loved his family and friends, and had a special place in his heart for all animals, especially his much-loved cats. Arrangements are in the care of MacDiarmid’s Funeral Home & Crematorium. As per Eddy’s wishes, there will be no funeral, however, donations in Eddy’s name can be made to the LA Animal Shelter.
