It’s with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved son Stephen age 35, on September 16, 2024 at Valley Regional Hospital in Kentville, NS.
Born in Sydney, NS he was the son of Aline Horne George and Robert George. Stephen loved to play his guitar and video games, enjoyed walking the trails and having adventures with his friends. He loved working as a carpenter with his best buddy Justin. Stephen was always there for his friends and family. We lost a son, brother, uncle, nephew and cousin; he will be deeply missed, especially by his canine companions Stark and Arya.
Stephen is survived by his parents Aline and Robert (Tracey) and half sisters Cassidy, Laurel and Danielle. He had many treasured aunts and uncles Kathleen Horne Waldon, Leo and Carol-Ann Horne, Cindy and Greg MacPhee, godmother Gloria (Buddy) and godfather Nelson (Tracey), lots of cousins near and far and special friend Lytora.
Stephen is predeceased by his brother Jonnathan; best friend Justin; maternal grandparents Cyril and Charlotte Horne; paternal grandparents Bobby and Anne George; and cousin Breanna Horne.
A heartfelt thank you to the entire ICU staff at Valley Regional Hospital for the wonderful care and compassion our son received from you all.
