Obituary of Lisa May Davison
It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Lisa May Davison of Berwick, on September 23, 2024. Lisa was born in Haida Gwaii, British Columbia on April 27, 1974 to Darell and Marjorie George (nee Weller).
Lisa spent more than 20 years as a Counsellor with the Department of Community Services. She cared deeply about her work, and was dedicated to helping children and families during challenging times.
Lisa was a creative and passionate woman. Her presence and energy lit up so many of our homes and lives, and those of us who spent time with her rarely had to guess what she thought or how she felt. Her determination was unmatched, and once she set her mind to something, changing her mind was not for the faint of heart. Lisa lived and loved fiercely, and when her light would shine on you, you felt its warmth. Above all else, she loved her children deeply and with everything she had.
Lisa leaves behind her children Bronwyn, Olive, Owen, Harper, and Laina. She is also survived by her father Darell (Syvlie), stepfather Peter, brother Michael (Tanya), partner Ian, and her cat Carly. She will also be deeply missed by many dear friends and members of her extended family.
Lisa was predeceased by her mother, Marjorie.
Cremation has taken place. A private memorial service for immediate family will take place at a later date. We encourage those who knew and loved Lisa to come together and celebrate her life in their own way. Arrangements have been entrusted to Serenity Funeral Home, 34 Coldbrook Village Park Dr., Coldbrook, NS, B4R 1B9 (902-679-2822).
