Obituary
Delaney, Beverley Maxine – 81, of Shelburne, passed away suddenly at home on September 24, 2024. Born on May 12, 1943 she was a daughter of the late Howard and Helena (Nickerson) Swim. Bev enjoyed spending time with her family and especially summers with her 3 grandchildren. She was a proud Cape Islander, and proud of her roots. Bev is survived by her husband, Paul Delaney; daughter, Paula (Jeffery) Dalgarno; grandchildren, Trisha, Helena and Alexander; great-grandchildren, Kinsley and Maxine; several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents Bev was predeceased by brothers, Wendell, Glendon, Bruce, Langille and Winston, as well as sister Coral Cotter. There will be a public visitation held from 2-4 and 6-8 pm on Friday, September 27, at the H. M. Huskilson’s Memorial Chapel, Barrington. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 28 at 2:00 pm from the H.M. Huskilson’s Memorial Chapel, Barrington. Memorial donations may be made to Minnie’s Fur Friends or any charity of choice. Online condolences may be sent to huskilson@ns.aliantzinc.ca or you may sign the guest book at www.huskilson.net
