It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of George William Kyte, of St. Peter’s which occurred at his residence at the Richmond Villa in St. Peter’s on November 27th, 2023. Born June 19, 1935, in St. Peter’s, he was the son of the late George Valentine and Myrtle (Hill) Kyte.
William was a member of the Immaculate Conception Church, Barra Head, MacAskill’s Yacht Club, St. Peter’s, and the Roddie’s Square Dance Society.
He is survived by his daughter Mary Ann Roberts (Dennis), Gananoque, ON; sons Val Cameron (Susan)), Debert, John Duncan (Hannah), Seattle Washington, and George Andrew (Charlene), Belleville, ON; grandchildren Skye, Cameron, Elizabeth, Rory, James, Eilidh, Isobel, William, and Ethan; great-grandchild Rowan; sisters, Ann Nolan, Halifax, and Lydia Boyd, Saint John, NB.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his wife Mary Paula Cameron Kyte, brother Robert, and sister Mary.
There will be no visitation or funeral per request. Committal will take place at a later date.
Memorial donations can be made to your local food bank.
Funeral arrangements are entrusted to C.H. Boudreau Funeral Home Ltd., Arichat.
