With her family by her side at Charlotte County Hospital, St
Stephen, N.B. on Tuesday, September 17, 2024, Mrs. Lynn (Eldridge)
Bailey passed away at the age of 81.
Born in Blacks Harbour, N.B., Lynn was a daughter of the late
Ethel and Garnett Eldridge.
Lynn was the beloved wife of Peter for 32 years, loving
mother of Kelly (Ed) and John (Lisa), cherished grandmother to Adam
(Julie) and Christopher (Danielle), stepmother to Lynn, Maria,
Steffie, Kim, Peter and Alan. Lynn was also a dear and beloved sister
to Gwen (Allen), Helen, Nancy, Clyde (Ethel), Jimmy (Late Pam), Hughie
(Cathy) and she will be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews,
friends and anyone that knew her.
In addition to her parents, Lynn was predeceased by her son
Donald and grandson Tylor Breau
Lynn had a big heart, beautiful smile and soul. She loved
unconditionally and would do anything for anyone.
She worked at Connor’s Bros for over 50 years and was one of
the fastest sardine packers and even won a few contests at the summer
fair for the fastest packer. She even got to work with her loving
daughter Kelly on the same packing table.
Lynn’s favorite thing to do after retiring was playing the
slots, travelling many times with her husband Peter to Bangor to do
so. Lynn also loved dancing and would often go to the Legion with
friends and her beloved sister Helen, where they shared many good
times and laughter together. Dancing is where she met the love of her
life Peter.
In keeping with Lynn’s wishes, there will be no
funeral service or visitation held.
For those who wish, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made
in her memory to the Charlotte County Cancer Society. Condolences may
be sent to the family online at www.mehanfuneralhome.ca
