Obituary of James P. Carr
CARR JAMES PATRICK – Passed away in Saint. John, NB on September 28 th , 2023, at the age of 64. Born in St. Catharines, ON, loving husband of Tracy (Mason) Carr, son of Jackie (Hunt) and the late Gary Carr.
Jamie was predeceased by his sister Sheila. Jamie’s passion for knowledge and people led to multiple professional endeavours including a financier, civil servant and educator. He was a graduate of McMaster and Mount Allison universities.
Jamie was forever proud of his three sons, Sean (Camilla) of Brisbane, Australia, Ryan (Isabel) St. Andrews, NB, and Liam (Shaelyn) and granddaughter Lennon all of Edmonton, AB.
Jamie had several passions: coaching his sons and students in multiple sports teams, traveling, golfing, biking, hiking, reading, Mount Allison football games and the Detroit Red Wings, to mention a few. He would happily hit the road and venture off on a 14-hour drive for his family, with Tim Hortons in hand and CBC radio in the background. A true and proud Canadian.
Jamie will be remembered for his warm smile, kindness and generosity shown to others. He will be
dearly missed and forever remembered.
