The family of Leif Erica Jane Cyr are saddened to announce that the world has truly lost an angel. Leif passed away on September 28, 2023 surrounded by her loving family. Born in Saint John on April 21, 1985, she was the daughter of Stephen Cyr and Amdal Cyr (Handeland). She will be greatly missed by her Mom, Dad and her brother Kristan. Leif touched so many hearts, she loved to help everyone she could. Always willing to listen or give advise when it was wanted. She loved her time with Stepping Stones working with autistic children. She was so gifted artistically with whatever she put her mind to, whether it be poetry, or painting or cooking, it came naturally to her. Once a young girl that was shy, she moved on her own to Surrey, BC and blossomed into the most amazing woman. Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John, NB (506-646-2424). In keeping with Leif’s wishes, all services are being held privately. Leif had asked for donations to be made in her memory to Hestia House or the Canadian Cancer Society.
