Obituary
It is with heavy hearts that the family of June Elizabeth (Publicover) Patterson, loving wife of the late Robert J. Patterson, wish to announce her passing which occurred at the Saint John Regional Hospital on October 3, 2023. Born in Halifax, NS, June 12, 1936, to the late Thomas and Anna May (Martell) Publicover.
She was a member of Cornerstone Baptist Church where she found great comfort in her prayers for those in her church family and in her own family. She was involved with Meals on Wheels over the years. She always looked forward to Tuesday Nights TV Bingo, enjoyed knitting and visits with her dear friend and neighbor, Irene Doyle. She will be missed by her kitty friend Minnie.
She is survived by her daughters; Catherine Evans (Rick), Susan Kyte, and Deborah Beckwith (Mark), her grandchildren; Amanda, Jennifer (Kevin), Andrew (Tiffany), Elizabeth (Tom) and James (Guillaume), her great-grandchildren; Oliver, Lincoln, Bear, and her soon to be great-granddaughter, along with her cousins, nieces and nephews.
Besides her husband and parents, she was predeceased by her brothers, Gordon and Thomas, and sister, Doris.
Arrangements are under the care of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (506-646-2424), with visiting from 2-8PM on Wednesday, October 11, 2023. The funeral service will be at 11:00AM on Thursday, October 12, 2023, followed by the interment at St. Joseph’s Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, remembrances made to the Saint John SPCA or Romero House would be appreciated.
