It is with a broken heart that the family of Jason Toivo Land announces his unexpected passing on November 20, 2024, in Moncton, NB. Born in Saint John, NB, on January 28, 2003, he was the son of Holly Day and Jason Land.
Jason had a passion for music and making his own. He dreamed of being on the big stage one day. He had a huge heart and could be friends with anyone he met. He loved making people laugh and could just light up a room. He loved his family, he loved to eat, and just started to really enjoy life – and most importantly, he loved Jesus. Jason was striving to be the best man he could be for his son, whom he loved dearly. Jason was such a kind hearted child growing up and would help anyone out. I will forever miss his presence, our talks about life and our faith together.
Jason is survived by his son Westley of Saint John, his mother Holly Day of Shediac, his father Jason Land (Amanda) of Saint John, his sisters Aviendha Land, Abagail Day, Mya Kennedy, Pepper Land, Adalynn Day, his brothers Austin Day, Kaeleb Land, Jace Land, and Aiden Byers; his grandparents Sandra (Richard) Tonge, Mike (Faith) Day, Peter (the late Donna) Land, his aunts and uncles Jeff (Stephanie) Land, Jocelyn Land, Lorraine Day, Shawn Day, Malcolm Day, Natasha Day; and lots of cousins who loved him.
Arrangements are under the care and direction of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Rd., Saint John, NB (506-646-2424). A visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 27, from 12PM – 2PM, followed by a Funeral Service at 2PM in the Fundy Chapel. Donations in memory of Jason can be made to any addictions and recovery centres or a charity of the donor’s choice.
